Citizens. Our Government is broken. We can fix it.

Lobbyists, PACS, and Corporations cannot buy your vote. Therein lies your power.

You are not a helpless.  You can change the USA to become the country you want it to be.  You can undo the disaster our politicians have created.  We were given the ways and means to defeat tyranny over 200 years ago.  It is call the VOTE.  USE YOUR POWER.  Vote these failures out of office.  Every one of them.  Demand the respect and voice the Constitution gave to you the day you were born.

Evidenced by their voting record and behavior, our Politicians have no respect for the Citizens who elected them. These Politicians believe they know what we need — no matter what their constituents have to say.  They think they are the RULERS and we are simply the CATTLE that pay the bills. Take these two recent examples:

1. TARP.  Public (Citizens) wrote, faxed and emailed 100 to 1 against TARP.  Every Representative, every Senator was contacted by hundreds of thousands of Citizens to Vote No.  To slow down.  To read what they were voting for. The result?  Citizens were ignored.  Congress decided the filthy gruel they would serve up to the Citizens — no matter what we had to say. They believed that they are smarter.  By the outcome of the vote it is shown that the politicians believe that they are the RULERS and they “know best” therefore they do not need to listen to the Citizens, nor do they need to take Citizens seriously. Congress passed the biggest hand-out in history to the very people that created this financial disaster.  Congress gave away our money (and our great-grandchildren’s money) to the financial barons that control their purse strings.  They passed the biggest corporate give-away in history — without considering what the Citizens of this Country needed and wanted.  Without explaining why they were voting to give the wealthiest corporations in the World essentially free money.   Or understanding what that 2,000 page document really contained, or its impact on the Citizens of this country.
2. “Health Care”.  Again, shoved down the throats of the Citizens this Country.  The fact is the bill the Senate passed is not “Health Care” — it is MANDATORY NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE.  It simply puts another (expensive) layer of Government Bureaucracy between you and your Physician.  A Bureaucracy that will cost you BILLIONS of DOLLARS of our national treasure, will grow to take more and more of your wealth.  A Bureaucracy that will have free Federal Employee health insurance — while you are forced to pay the corporations that masterminded this law.  A Bureaucracy that will have generous retirement benefits — paid by you.  A Bureaucracy created without regard to the vast majority of Physicians, Citizens and Health Providers that DID NOT WANT, DID NOT SUPPORT, and were VEHEMENTLY AGAINST it.  A New Bureaucracy that has been shoved down the throats of the Citizens in the dead of night — Citizens who are now forced to pay, pay, pay for a additional Bureacratic department that does nothing to provide Health Care.  Who does this “Health Care” act really help?  The HEALTH INSURANCE COMPANIES.  It is simply another Government Program shoved down the throat of American Citizens designed to pick your pocket, guarantee profit for large corporations and entrench a bureacratic power structure of non-elected officials who answer only to themselves, and the Ruling Class called Congress.

I, for one, am sick and tired of what has happend to our Country.  Citizens will only obtain power, when they exercise the power they already have.  That power is the VOTE.

The NEW BROOM PARTY does not care who you vote for, as long as they are not in office now.

Join us.  In just one election, Citizens will become the most important power in the Country.  Government will once again work for the Citizens of the USA, instead of the Citizens working for,  paying for, and suffering under Government that believes they rule us.
