Sweep D.C. Clean. It's time for American Citizens to take control of their government.

We do not care who you vote for. Vote your conscience. But do not vote for anyone in office now.
Citizen, it is time to take responsibility, exercise your power, and vote all politicians, and the lobbyists and special interests that come with them, out of office.  All of them.  Every one.

You are not a helpless.  You can change the USA to become the country you want it to be.  You can undo the disaster our politicians have created.  We were given the ways and means to defeat tyranny over 200 years ago.  It is call the VOTE.  USE YOUR POWER.  Vote these failures, this corruption out of office.  Demand the respect and voice the Constitution gave to you the day you were born.  Continue reading…

Enough is enough.

Our politicians and their special interests have run the greatest economy in the world into the toilet.  Stripped our Constitutional rights away with double-speak  like the “Patriot Act”.  Created bloated bureaucracies that grow and consume our treasure.  Started wars that cannot be won.  And have put Citizens second to the corporate money that holds their strings.

Decades of corrupt actions that have resulted in the pitiful circumstance we find ourselves in today.

VOTE THEM OUT.  All of them.  And the lobbyist they rode in with.  They have ALL failed us.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.  VOTE.  Vote them all

Things We Should Be Allowed To Do – Part 1: Sell Our Own Organs

We live in a country where we can lawfully slander a celebrity, but may not sell a kidney to save someone’s life.

By precedents set in the court system, we may defame and defile a celebrity because they have achieved “public figure” status, but may not sell a kidney for some hybrid incentive of monetary gain and altruism; one that, oh by the way, will save a person’s life.

SSCI Unanimously Approves Nominee They Don’t Like

As expected, SSCI just approved James Clapper’s nomination to be DNI. Surprisingly, though, there were no dissenters. Not Russ Feingold, with his worries about transparency on DOD covert ops. Not Tom Coburn, who was concerned about the timing of Clapper’s nomination (and who never met an obstructive tactic he didn’t like). Not even Kit Bond, [...]

Sen. Richard Shelby steers cash to ex-aides – Manu Raju and John Bresnahan – POLITICO.com

Shelby’s earmarking doesn’t appear to run afoul of Senate rules or federal ethics laws. But critics said his tactics are part of a Washington culture in which lawmakers direct money back home to narrow interests, which, in turn, hire well-connected lobbyists — often former congressional aides — who enjoy special access on Capitol Hill.

“It is a system that is in direct conflict of interest with our oath of office because it’s parochial,” said Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.), an earmark critic who declined to comment on Shelby directly.

Shelby secured $427 million worth of earmarks in 2008, $322 million in 2009 and $173 million in 2010, according to Taxpayers for Common Sense. Shelby has often provided earmarks to entities that don’t have his former staffers doing their bidding, like $210 million for a prison in the tiny Alabama town of Aliceville.

Sen. Richard Shelby steers cash to ex-aides – Manu Raju and John Bresnahan – POLITICO.com

Since 2008, Alabama Sen. Richard Shelby has steered more than $250 million in earmarks to beneficiaries whose lobbyists used to work in his Senate office — including millions for Alabama universities represented by a former top staffer. In a mix of revolving-door and campaign finance politics, the same organizations that have enjoyed Shelby’s earmarks have seen their lobbyists and employees contribute nearly $1 million to Shelby’s campaign and political action committee since 1999, according to federal records.
